Wine Women and Song!!! – Let the bubbles make you dance!

As part of its landmark wine series, Karma Kandara presents a celebration of French champagne.

Karma Resorts wine curator, Maria Lurighi, will take us on a fascinating journey through the process of making this temperamental wine and also share some of the stories of this appellation and its history, and of course there will be some surprises.

The selection of French Champagne from the grand houses of Veuve Cliqot, Jacquessin, Billecart and Cattier will be presented with a delectable menu by Chef Raymond Saja and will feature amongst other things citrus cured salmon, carnoli risotto, roastedscallops, and olive poached loin of lamb.

We share champagne to launch ships, on new years eve or on special occasions to celebrate life itself! . This very special evening will give insight in to one of the most fascinating stories in the wine world, and why women in particular have played such an important role in the launching of this wonderful drink!

Let the bubbles make you dance…. dinner includes complimentary entry to the Nammos Beach Bar where the Karma Resotrs sponsored DJ Tools competition winners will be strutting their stuff on the decks ’til late.

  There was wine (five kinds of French Champagne. There were women (aplenty), and there was song, (husky blues and opera-trained gospel.
  What an amazing night! Fantastic food, great wines and a guided talk through the many histories surrounding the people, the grapes and a few debunking of myths surrounding this most feminine of wines.
  They say that champagne doesn’t give you a hangover; well, they are wrong! Sunday was a day of horizontalness…but worth every drop.

  That was a night to try to remember! Bubbles, bubbles can get you in trouble!

  Thanks Karma for a fantastically chic evening, great crowd of people and delicious cuisine to accompany the finest champagne. Do another night soon!

  Next day, horizontal at Nammos Beach Club with a Bloody Mary in hand!

  This was fab! Champagne is not my favorite but it does make for a great party with lots of beautiful women!
